Alcester Tennis Club

Welcome to Alcester Tennis Club.

We are a vibrant and friendly club of around 350 members, situated in the heart of the Roman town of Alcester, Warwickshire. 

Whether you are new to the area, new to tennis, haven’t played in years, or are high up in the world rankings, we welcome players of all ages and standards.

We offer 5 floodlit courts, 4 of which are Tiger Turf and 1 hardcourt - all open 7 days a week from 8am - 10pm. 

We offer Social Tennis sessions, Cardio Tennis sessions and hold Competitions throughout the year. We are also well represented in both Winter and Summer Leagues, with Men's, Ladies' and Mixed Team Tennis.

We also offer "Pay and Play" - for non-members to book a court, and enjoy a game ! For "Pay and Play", courts can only booked up to 4 days in advance.

Together with our Head Coach Stuart Beach and  in partnership with Inspire2Coach we offer top class coaching for all ages in group and private sessions. We also cater for School Holidays, with half and full day Holiday Camps. 

Our vision is to deliver the best tennis and social experience for members through professionally led programmes and engagement with the local community.

What Goes On

Club Social Night takes place every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7:00pm, every Thursday morning from 10am and every Sunday evening from 6pm. This is a good opportunity to meet existing members and we assure you of a friendly welcome. 

There is also Club Social Tennis on Wednesday afternoons 2:00pm - for up to 2 hours.

Team Practice for the Men's teams and Ladies' teams takes place on Monday evenings from 7pm. Team matches take place throughout the week.

We also run Cardio Tennis sessions at 18:30 on a Tuesday evening.  The session lasts an hour and your first session is free. It’s a great way to get fit and requires little/no tennis skills!

Adult Improver sessions take place every Monday morning from 9am and there are various Try Tennis sessions for those new to tennis.

Apart from these times you are welcome to play at any time.  We have an excellent coaching programme with 3 full time coaches from our coaching team inspire2coach and a very strong Junior section.
